We recommend you watch this five minute system demo video to see exactly how CoverCard works.
We ask you to select the particular licences and qualifications, both mandatory and desirable, that a candidate must have in order to be considered for a role. We also capture the typical information contained in a job advertisement (such as job title, location, duties etc.).
In turn, candidates specify what licences and qualifications they hold. Both sides select from the same database of qualifications and licences enabling rapid filtering of candidates and significant time savings in the screening of applicants (up to 90% in many cases).
To fully understand what we match on we recommend you create an account and set-up a job. You won’t be charged until you set it live.
In summary, we match on trades, licences and qualifications, including selected mining inductions. We also match on other parameters such as location, right to work status, the possession of a police clearance, the ability to pass a drug and alcohol test, and other items.
All candidate data is supplied by the applicants themselves and CoverCard does not warrant the accuracy of the information provided. We also enable applicants to upload images of their various qualifications for inclusion in their CoverCard and for subsequent review by you.
We filter all candidates against the trades, licences, qualifications and other items you specify. Within your dashboard you can filter on both mandatory and desirable items, for all applicants that come through CoverCard. You can select candidates for shortlisting in a couple of clicks. Please watch the five minute demo video to see exactly how this works.

Each job lasts for 30 days, unless you choose to end it earlier. You may choose to extend a job for an extra 14 days at an additional cost of $25. This can only be done once per job.
You may also choose to ‘pause’ a job. This means the job is no longer visible and you will no longer receive new candidates. It can be turned off and on as you need. Note that the 30 day expiry (and 14 day extension if selected) continues whether or not the job is paused.
